Are you at a crossroads in your life? Do you feel stuck, blocked or in need of inspiration? Would you like to try a spiritual practice unencumbered with religious baggage and esoteric jargon? Do you need healing of some kind? Are you brave enough to delve deep into your subconscious (without the use of drugs)?
If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then The Alchemy of Breath may be the answer for you. Using Conscious Breath (a specific breathing technique) in a safe and comfortable environment, each participant is supported to enter a non ordinary, relaxed state of consciousness. In this state, it is possible to have have experiences ranging from the physical to the spiritual and there may be deep and profound healing. Alternatively, you may just have a relaxed hour of nourishing and relaxing breathing!
If that sounds a bit scary, well in some ways, just like life itself, it is. However, at all times you will be the author of your own experience and will ultimately control how deep you go.

About the facilitators
Benedict is a yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator.
Jennifer is a myofascial release therapist and yoga teacher. They also happen to be Vicky's brother and sister-in-law!
Join Vicky for an extended restorative yoga practice to release deeply held tension and stress. Using props to fully support the body, restorative yoga allows you to 'let go' of muscular effort and tension in the body. This in turns allows the mind to quiet, allowing you to surrender into softness and a complete sense of freedom.
This extended restorative practice will take you on a journey to a place where you feel:
* so relaxed and comfortable in your own skin you hardly notice your physical body,
* so laid back that you feel everything is ok, just as it is
* fully connected and in harmony with your true self.
Give yourself the gift of release.
Spread over 5 weeks, the course will introduce you to the key concepts in yoga. It covers pranayama (breathwork), asana (postures), mantra and meditation. We will focus on safe alignment and learning to listen to your body.
You'll be led by Charlotte Temple (@charlottetempleyoga) in a small group, allowing lots of time for questions, individual attention and focus.
This is a great way to kick start your yoga journey and learn the fundamentals of a safe and enjoyable yoga practice. And if you're a regular practitioner, this will allow you time and space to re-explore the basics and refine your technique.
In the past few decades, there has been a revolution in how we perceive the body. What appears to be an object, a three-dimensional anatomical structure, is actually a magical and ever evolving process, a constant flow of energy and information.
In yoga the concept of Prana is very specific. when we speak of Prana we mean the original life force, which is the very basis for health and well being both for body and mind. When your body is alive with Prana, you feel alert, energetic, clear - literally buzzing with vibrancy. You start to see the world differently and the world starts to see a different you!
This workshop will help you expand your awareness of the energetic body to build all the power you could possibly need to create a new reality by locating the part of you that resonates with the universe and rekindling and reaffirming that connection. We will move through a potent combination of asanas, while applying bandhas, mantra and breath work to unlock the force of the spirit.
This will be a full spectrum practice for all levels, with as much emphasis on pranayama and chanting as there is asana to awaken the energetic body and connect you to source.
