Spread over 6 weeks, the course will introduce you to the key concepts in yoga. It covers pranayama (breathwork), asana (postures), mantra and meditation. We will also touch on some key concepts in yogic philosophy. In our asana practice our focus will be on safe alignment and building confidence in foundational poses.. We will touch on a few different styles of yoga (flow, restorative, hatha) to give a flavour of the many and varied styles yoga that are available.
You'll be led by Vicky Leitch in a small group (max 8 people), to allow lots of time for questions, individual attention and focus.
This is a great way to kick start your yoga journey and learn the fundamentals of a safe and enjoyable yoga practice. And if you're a regular practitioner, this will allow you time and space to re-explore the basics and refine your technique.
