Join Victoria for a 2hr Welcome to Meditation. Always looking back with concern? Thinking and planning ahead? Then realise you've barely tasted the meal in front of you or heard your family telling you about their day? In this busy world we've almost lost the ability to live in the present moment - the only moment that actually exists. We live with heightened levels of anxiety, stress & worry. But adopting a meditation practice can go a long way to controlling our wayward thoughts and giving us space before we respond. This workshop will introduce you to a number of different practices so that you can find the one that works for you. We'll discuss how you can even fit meditation into your lifestyle and create a sustainable practice; one that really makes a difference. Victoria has been a practising meditation since 2003 and in 2007 took vows to practice Buddhism within the context of the Triratna order. This commitment deepened and supported her meditations and understanding of how to share this necessary tool for a more peaceful life.

Herbal tea and cake will be offered during the workshop.
