Ice Baths & Breath Control

On Sunday the 24th of March, join us for a fun and challenging workshop on Cold Exposure & Breathing, led by London-based teachers Anastasis Tzanis & Ana Carvalho.

❄️In this 6-hour workshop you will learn how to use your breath to control your Autonomic Nervous System, and practice the ancient yogic technique of temperature regulation by taking an ice bath!

❄️We will explore the three key elements of the Wim Hof Method:

❄️THE TEACHERS
- Anastasis is an experienced registered Nutritional Therapist & Yoga Teacher. His interest in the Wim Hof Method* was sparked when he realised that body temperature control is a practice of the yogic tradition that few people practice. He was certified in 2016 as a WHM instructor and now regularly teaches breathing classes and workshops.
- Ana is a movement teacher with a background in dance, Pilates & Sports Therapy spanning more than 20 years. She has also studied craniosacral therapy & the Oxygen Advantage Breathing Method over the past few years, which she now combines with her movement practice.

Don't worry if taking an ice bath seems like an impossible prospect - anyone can do it!

*❄️WHO OR WHAT IS WIM HOF?
Wim Hof got his nickname “The Iceman” after he broke a number of records that involved resisting cold. Some of his feats include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle on his bare feet, and maintaining his core temperature whilst in an ice bath for 112 minutes. Wim is convinced that all our bodies are capable of doing the same exceptional things his body allows him to do. He developed the Wim Hof Method (WHM) in order to give ordinary people the tools to take control over their body.
